Day 1: Colombo
Upon arrival at the airport, meet and greet our tour representative. You will be transferred to Colombo. Check-in at the hotel and relax the day at the hotel in Colombo.

Day 2: Colombo/Habarana

Being Sri Lanka’s commercial capital, Colombo stretches across 37.31 km area with a population of 642,163 people. Although Colombo is the commercial capital and business hub of Sri Lanka, it is a lively city filled with many charms like parks, bargain boutiques, shopping arcades and restaurants. After sightseeing in Colombo, head towards Habarana. Visit Dambulla cave temple, Pinnawala elephant orphanage en route to Habarana. Once you have reached Habarana, refresh yourself and relax the night at the hotel. Look ahead for seeing the cultural background of Sri Lanka on the following day.

Day 3: Habarana/Anuradhapura/Mihintale/Habarana

After breakfast, tour around the sacred city of Anuradhapura. Meet the prehistoric and unspoiled ruins, Buddhist monasteries and architectural remains of Anuradhapura. Being the eighth world wonder, Anuradhapura is one of the oldest cities in the world. After the journey to Anuradhapura, visit Mihintale in the afternoon. Mihintale is a pilgrimage site sited on the mountain peak, known as the place that originated Buddhism in Sri Lanka. The entire site displays the ancient architecture at its best. After the long tour in Anuradhapura, go back to the hotel in Habarana and relax the night.

Day 4: Habarana/Sigiriya/Polonnaruwa/Kandy
Wake-up early, have your breakfast at the hotel. Keep up your stamina to reach the upcoming place. Start hiking the prestigious lion rock also known as Sigiriya. Then, hike the Pidurangala rock. Next, travel to Polonnaruwa. Day 5: Kandy/Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the temple of the sacred tooth or Sri Dalada Maligawa. As the name describes, it is the Buddhist temple which holds the relic of the tooth of the Gautama Buddha. The building houses a royal palace, audience hall, golden canopy and temple of tooth museum. Next, visit the Royal Botanical garden and sightsee the blossoms and plantations. Day 6: Nuwara Eliya/Tissamaharama
After breakfast, begin the Sri Lanka itinerary 10 days by proceeding to Tissamaharama. It was used as the capital of the Sinhalese kingdom during the third century B.C. Day 7: Tissamaharama/Mirissa

Day 8: Mirissa

Day 9: Mirissa/Colombo
